Basic Services Delivered

Butuan CityTwo basic services of the Provincial Veterinary Office - Agusan del Norte are simultaneously extending to Agusanon.

Both services consist of providing vitamins and poultry vaccination of pets as part of the preparation for the upcoming summer season.

According to Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Belen Aruelo, they are in double time so that when the said season comes, the immune system of the animals which are already given a vitamin will become strong.

Besides, the rabies of domestic animals can be killed through immunization.

Dr. Aruelo added, the Agusanon should avail of this so that their pets will grow healthy and if these can bite the victim will not in danger.

Based on experience during the summer, children are fun of roaming around since the school class is already completed, and in these circumstances, they are possibly prone of animal bites such as dog.

Children cannot be controlled during that time of roaming around because that is the only time that they can relax after 10-months of studying in school.

With this, the Agusanon are very much encouraged that when the group can visit in their respective barangay, they must avail the free basic services that they are bringing.

The official explained that these services are funded by the provincial government and the regional office of Department of Agriculture (DA), and so, this is all free.

For now, the office continues their barangay visitation through the help of their counterpart – the Municipal Veterinary Office so that they can deliver services that is being made for the benefits of the domestic animals that are being cared by residents of the said province.
